Below you will find all terms and conditions that apply to renting a reliable vehicle from Fantasy Rent A Car.
Kindly please peruse them carefully, as they are here to keep surprises out of the way, and help you best enjoy your vacation in Naxos Island.
AGE REQUIREMENTS
For all vehicles in the ECONOMY & BASIC categories, the designated driver should be at least 20 years of age.
For all vehicles in the FAMILY, AUTOMATIC & CABRIO categories,, the designated driver should be at least 23 years of age..
DRIVING LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
- For all vehicles in the ECONOMY & BASIC categories, the driver’s license should already be valid for at least a year.
- For all vehicles in the FAMILY, AUTOMATIC & CABRIO categories, the driver’s license should already be valid for at least two years.
- All drivers with a non-European driving license should carry an International Driving Permit.
INSURANCE
- By law, all rental vehicles are covered with a 3rd party insurance, that is included in the rental pricing. With this kind of insurance, in case of accident, the insurance covers all damage to 3rd parties (vehicles & persons), and the driver has to cover all damage to the rental vehicle, in full.
- An extra Collision Damage Waiver insurance is optionally provided, at an additional cost. This restricts the driver’s liability against the damages induced to the rental vehicle in case of an accident caused by their own fault. The amount of liability differs amongst vehicle categories.
FUEL
The type of fuel each vehicle runs on (gas/diesel) is clearly indicated upon vehicle pick up.
The cost of fuel is covered in full by the driver.
PAYMENT TERMS
All rentals can be paid for by cash or credit/debit cards. All major credit cards accepted. If in doubt, kindly please contact us in advance.
All the type of deposits are non-refundable, regardless of date.

FERRY TRANSPORT
Transporting rental vehicles away from Naxos Island using any naval means is strictly prohibited.
CREDENTIALS
The driver has to prove their identity by providing certain credentials. The credentials accepted are:
- Passport (for all non-Greek nationals)
- Greek National ID or passport (for Greeks)
PICK UP YOUR VEHICLE AT NAXOS PORT
We’ll be happy to deliver your vehicle at the port for you. In order to do that, we have to know the following information
- The name of the ferry you’re coming with
- The ferry company
- The date and time of your arrival
PICK UP YOUR VEHICLE AT NAXOS AIRPORT
We’ll be happy to deliver your vehicle at the airport for you. In order to do that, we have to know the following information
- The number of the flight you’re coming with
- The date and time of your arrival
LOCATIONS
We’ll be happy to deliver / collect your vehicle at the following locations:
- Our main office
- Naxos Port
- Naxos Airport
- Any hotel located within the yellow zone indicated on this map. Any pick-ups / drop-offs in locations outside the yellow zone come at an extra cost.
WORKING HOURS
Any pick-ups / drop-offs from 09:00 to 23:00 daily are absolutely free.
If you need to pick-up or drop off your vehicle outside this time frame, there’s an extra cost of 15 euros per itinerary.
VEHICLE WARRANTY EXPLANATION
- By presenting a credit card in the name of the driver, we simply indicate the credit card details in the contract.

Privacy Policy
Our website is committed to respecting and protecting your right to privacy of your online connection. We do not sell, rent, or otherwise grant personal information submitted by visitors to our site to any third party. By personal information, we mean the name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address. Our site requests the completion of the above items for the following reasons:
- Name: Your name is required to make the reservation.
- Phone Number: Your telephone number is essential for us to contact you for the best booking service experience.
- Email: Your email is necessary so we can confirm the reservation.
- Age: Your age is needed to make sure you’re legally allowed to rent and drive one of our vehicles.
- Country: – Your country is needed to determine the type of credentials & driving licence you need to present before renting a vehicle.
The above data will be retained in the records of the company for a period of five (5) years.
This information will not be used for unintended communication. By submitting your information, you allow us to use this information to:
- Inform you of offers
- Send you forms or other correspondence
- Send you electronically press releases or other announcements
- Deliver to you products or awards
Our site can use anonymous statistical data (browser type, geographic location) to optimize the site as part of the ongoing internal review process and, more generally, to get to know our consumers better. We recommend that children and young people under the age of 18 to get a permission from their parents before submitting their personal information to the website.

THE BEST WAY TO EXPLORE NAXOS ISLAND
Naxos is quite large, offering lots to explore. It takes at least a week on the road to really discover everything there is to it.

We want you to feel confident when driving our vehicles, so we have reinforced some of our procedures beyond the normal protocols:
- At the end of each rental, our staff sanitizes all surfaces of the car with a steam disinfectant.
- Disposable single-use seat covers are used during all vehicle transfers, for the safety of our customers and personnel.
- Our staff is always equipped with sanitary masks and gloves.
- You can find sanitation wipes in all our vehicles, free of charge.
- Our office counters are equipped with special glass panes, for the safety of our customers and personnel.
